Frequently asked questions
How do I place an order? Fill out the request form under the Custom Order Request tab.
How long do your cookies stay fresh for? All cookies are heat sealed individually for freshness and can stay fresh for up to 3 weeks.
How far in advance should I book? It’s never too early to request a custom order. I suggest as soon as you know the date of your event, contact me! That way there is no rush in designing, baking, decorating and packaging. This also allows me the necessary time to order any needed materials for your order. Minimum 2 weeks notice for custom cookie orders is preferred. Orders requested after 2 week notice time period may result in a 25% rush fee (if there is any availability).
How will my cookies be packaged for pick up? Each cookie will be individually heat sealed in a cellophane bag prior to being boxed. Different boxing option available, depending on size of your order. Ribbon/bow options to compliment your theme are available for additional fee.
Where/when do I pickup? Pickup location is my residence, the address will be provided to you on your invoice. Pickup times will be arranged on an individual basis. If you do not show up for the pickup of your order at the date/time agreed upon, it will be forfeited and no refund will be given.
What form of payment to you accept? Cash and debit/credit cards via PayPal or Square. NO CHECKS.
Do you ship? My cookies are for local pickup only in the NW Ohio/SE Michigan area. It’s illegal for me to ship cookies due to the Michigan Cottage Food Law.
How much do your cookies cost? To get an accurate quote please give me as much detail as you can about your order, as well as any pictures or ideas (if you have them). For more information please see the Pricing tab.
When is payment due? Once I receive and review your order & details have been confirmed, I will send you an electronic invoice (PayPal). The order must be paid within 48 hours to hold your spot on my calendar. If the invoice is not paid, the spot will open back up to the next customer.
Do you provide discounts for large orders? Sorry, but not at this time. As a part time bake shop operating in a home kitchen, It’s not any easier to make 5 dozen than 1 dozen. Each cookie takes just as long as the previous.
Are your sugar cookies flavored? Yes, they are a delicious vanilla almond flavor with vanilla royal icing.
Can you provide nut-free or gluten-free cookie options? Unfortunately, I cannot at this time.
